A statewide movement to register
young voters, educate them on media literacy, and inspire long-term civic participation.
My passion for democracy and civic engagement has been a driving force throughout my academic and professional journey.
From my time as Press Secretary for the University of Florida's Student Government, where I witnessed firsthand the power of youth involvement in shaping our future, to my experience on the national stage as a Social Media Intern for a U.S. presidential re-election campaign and later as a Digital Gubernatorial Fellow in the Florida Governor’s Office - I honed my skills in digital strategy, content creation, and understanding the nuances of public discourse. During my undergraduate studies, I hosted a nationally recognized seminar series with Howard University on communications in the face of racism, and wrote my thesis on censorship and social media regulation.
My work as Social Media Manager at the America First Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., further solidified my belief in the power of strategic messaging and the importance of engaging with diverse audiences on these critical issues. I helped register over 250,000 people to vote through digital storytelling with grassroots mobilization, leveraging online platforms to educate and inspire civic participation among young and diverse audiences. Beyond the digital sphere, I took my efforts on the road, participating in a nationwide bus tour that traveled across America. This allowed me to connect directly with communities, host voter registration drives, and passionately promote the importance of civic involvement firsthand.
This background has provided me with invaluable expertise, and it underscores, to me, the critical need for media literacy education among young voters.
Through Democracy & Me, my work as Miss Jacksonville, and my commitment to being an informed and engaged American, I hope to inspire others to make a positive impact in their communities, our state, our country, and even the world.

By providing young people with the tools to register to vote, critically analyze media, and engage in meaningful civic activities, my initiative seeks to cultivate a generation that is not only informed but also actively participates in shaping the future of our communities and our state.
