Miss Jacksonville

Anjelica is the current Miss Jacksonville. Her community service initiative is Democracy and Me, which aims to foster civic engagement and understanding. The scholarship opportunities provided by the Miss America Organization have been instrumental in supporting Anjelica's educational aspirations, enabling her to pursue her law degree and having previously aided in her graduation from the University of Florida.

Miss Florida Journey

Anjelica’s journey in the Miss Florida program began at just six years old, when she was a Sunshine Princess—a role that allowed her to be mentored by titleholders and walk across the Miss Florida stage, dreaming of one day competing. Nearly a decade later, she stepped into the spotlight herself as Miss Jacksonville’s Outstanding Teen, marking the beginning of a journey that has now come full circle with her current title as Miss Jacksonville. In 2016, she was crowned Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen and went on to compete at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, where she placed in the Top 5 and earned both the Overall Dancer Award and a Preliminary Talent Award.

While attending the University of Florida, Anjelica continued to pour into the organization as a two-time director for the Miss University of Florida Pageant and was later invited back to Miss Florida’s Teen to serve as an emcee. Now, with years of experience, passion, and service behind her, she is honored to represent her hometown once again on the Miss Florida stage. Knowing firsthand the responsibility, heart, and commitment it takes to be a state titleholder, Anjelica is more than ready to take on the job of Miss Florida.

NFL Cheerleader

Anjelica Jones proudly serves as a cheerleader for the Jacksonville Jaguars on The ROAR of the Jaguars, continuing a family legacy that began 30 seasons ago. Her mother, Paige Jones, was a member of the inaugural cheerleading team when the Jaguars were first established in 1995. Growing up, Anjelica looked up to her mom and the other ROAR cheerleaders with immense admiration, dreaming of one day following in their footsteps. As a child, she was a Jr. ROAR, cheering on the sidelines in a mini-uniform and getting her first taste of the energy, sisterhood, and pride that comes with representing her hometown team.

That dream came full circle in 2024, when Anjelica made the team during the Jaguars' 30th anniversary season. One of the most meaningful moments of her rookie year was stepping onto the field alongside her mom during the team’s throwback celebration game—a powerful tribute to their shared legacy. Anjelica capped off her first season by being named DUUUVAL’s Choice Award Winner, an honor voted on by fans. Her inspiring journey with her mom was even featured in PEOPLE Magazine, celebrating their unique bond and generational impact on the Jaguars organization.

Law Student

As a rising second-year law student at Jacksonville University, Anjelica is deeply committed to her legal education. In her first year, Anjelica earned the "Book Award" for Legal Research, Writing, and Reasoning. Even within the competitive grading curve typical of law schools – where top grades are limited – she earned the highest grade in the entire class. This success in her legal studies builds upon a strong foundation established during her time at the University of Florida.
